The Memphis Pulled Pork AKA the King of Empanadas, was born from the idea of bringing backyard BBQ comfort into Tilly’s golden empanada dough.

We wanted to capture the feeling of a long, slow Southern cookout — the kind where food is more than a meal; it’s a tradition, a gathering, and a reason for people to come together. Inspired by the BBQ culture of Memphis, where slow-cooked pork, smoky flavors, and family-style hospitality are part of the city’s identity, this empanada blends Southern soul with Tilly’s creative twist.
